How is the speed measured?
A radar placed behind the net measures the ball's speed and shows it instantly in km/h.

How much space is needed?
Allow 4 m × 3 m, including the shooter's run-up. The player shoots from 3 m in front of the net.

No, the radar runs on battery, indoors or outdoors.
